Christopher Ball

Christopher heads the Consulting Studio pillar with specialisations in finance, strategy and transformation or divestment of mature businesses. A startup enthusiast, Christopher has advised Founders on preparing for investment and capital raising. Prior to co-founding Carter Seven, Christopher worked at the Royal Bank of Canada within Investor and Treasury Services.
Eugene Kouumdjieff

Eugene is the Founder and CEO of EK Ventures and Co-Founder of the acclaimed venture lab E-man. As an award-winning entrepreneur, investor and strategist, with a proven track record of success in the technology sector, Eugene continues to be a driving force for innovation. In 2022 Eugene was shortlisted for the ‘Best Startup UK’ award for exceptional performance in innovation, growth, management and societal impact in the incubators space.
Prior to joining the Carter Seven advisory board, Eugene’s career covered a wide range from health tech to gaming and the development of technological solutions for corporate brands such as Disney, Paramount, 20th Century Fox, National Geographic, Mastercard, The NHS and notable startups, Zoomdoc, Construo, JustPark and Wonga.
Strahil Pechilkov
Strahil serves as CFO to Start-ups, where he plays a pivotal role in supporting the ventures pillar. With a wealth of experience in financial management and M&A advisory across diverse industries, Strahil brings strategic insights and leadership to the forefront. Prior to joining Carter Seven, Strahil served as the CFO for BY FAR and previously was at PWC.

Zaid supports the ventures pillar with a focus on financial analysis, research and project management. As an avid learner, Zaid has built up an insight driven technical skill set. Prior to joining Carter Seven Zaid worked within the asset management space and Fintech.
